Where as, in the wisdom of an all-wise Father, our fellow laborer and brother, Royal E. Tidwell, has been called from this sphere of action, we as members of the High Priest Quorum do hereby express our deep love and appreciation for his past labors and association, and

 

Where as, because of his devotion to his church and his willingness to contribute of his means for the building up of the church in the erection of meeting houses and other public buildings, and his great faith in the missionary work of the church, having given of his means in sending four of his sons into the mission field, and

 

Where as, through our association with this our brother we recognize noble qualities of home building and beautification which has been an inspiration to us all, making for a better place in which to live.

 

Now therefore, because of the hour of deep mourning and bereavement and sorrow to his family, we extend our sincere sympathy and express our willingness to serve in the hour of need.

 

May God bless and comfort the members of his family.  It is desired that a copy of these resolutions be tendered to the bereaved family and also a copy be spread on the minutes of the High Priest Quorum.

 

A resolution of respect from his high priest quorum was given to the Royal Edwin Tidwell family at the occasion of his death and funeral.
